Being healed after a successful heart procedure, and knowing I will never have an episode again after 27 years of living with the condition.

Having to sew in your bathing suit or shorts in because you lost weight. :)

When you wake up several hours early, and get to go back to sleep.

The feeling of getting your hair cut after a long time of growing it out. Literally, weight off of your shoulders.

Going for a run in the rain, smelling the earth, seeing lightning far off in the distance.

Watching a sunset with friends for the first time since the doctors told you that your vision was gone for good.

When you suddenly realize your headache is gone.

Going to IHOP for breakfast with your dad, just the two of you.

When you get glasses for the first time and everything's so much clearer.

Finally getting the sneeze out that's been stuck in your head.

When you play your favorite sport after not playing for a long time.

Getting in the car after a bad date and calling your best friend and hashing it out as she reassures you that yes, everything will in fact be okay.
